Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Private Placement.
On behalf of the Board, Malacca Securities is pleased to announce that the Private Placement comprising 27,200,000 Placement Shares were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 16 November 2023.
Out of up to 27,507,816 new SWS Shares approved by Bursa Securities vide its letter dated 3 November 2023, only 27,200,000 new SWS Shares had been placed out pursuant to the Private Placement. The Board has confirmed that there will be no additional Placement Shares to be placed out pursuant to the Private Placement.
Therefore, on behalf of the Board, Malacca Securities wishes to announce that the Private Placement is deemed completed today.
