(Unless stated otherwise, definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the Company's announcement dated 7 July 2025 in relation to the Change of Name ("Announcement") and the Company's circular to shareholders dated 8 July 2025 ("Circular")).

We refer to the Company's Announcement and Circular in relation to the Change of Name.

On behalf of the Board, Sapura Energy Berhad wishes to announce that the Company has on 1 August 2025 received the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name of Company pursuant to Section 28 of the Companies Act 2016 issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

Accordingly, the name of the Company has been changed from "Sapura Energy Berhad" to "Vantris Energy Berhad" with effect from 1 August 2025.
