Reference is made to the previous announcement on 3 July 2024.

Following the dismissal of Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun’s application to set aside the Bankruptcy Notice on 3 July 2024, the creditor petition filed by the Company on 24 May 2024 following an act of bankruptcy by Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun on 8 May 2024 was fixed for hearing on 22 and 26 August 2024 (“CP hearing”).

Prior to the CP hearing, both Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun had on 19 and 21 August 2024, filed their respective applications via Summons in Chambers to stay the Creditor Petition and the entire bankruptcy proceedings pending their appeal at the Court of Appeal (“Stay Applications”). In this regard, the Shah Alam High Court fixed the date for decision of the Stay Applications filed by both Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun on 27 September 2024.

A hearing date for the Creditor Petition and/or further directions will be given by the Court on 27 September 2024 after the decision of the Stay Applications.
