ADJUDICATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST KOTA BHARU MEDICAL CENTRE SDN. BHD. FOR THE CONTRACT ON THE EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF SUBSTRUCTURE WORKS FOR A PRIVATE HOSPITAL COMPRISING A 12-STOREY HOSPITAL BLOCK AND A 11-STOREY CARPARK BLOCK WITH OTHER FACILITIES

Pursuant to Paragraphs 9.03 and 9.19 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Econpile wishes to announce that its wholly-owned major subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn. Bhd. ("EMSB"), had on 19 June 2026 registered an adjudication proceeding with Asian International Arbitration Centre ("AIAC") against Kota Bharu Medical Centre Sdn. Bhd. ("KBMC") to claim for the outstanding sum of RM5,299,600.35 pursuant to the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 ("CIPAA 2012"). On 2 July 2026, EMSB has submitted a request to the President of the AIAC to appoint an adjudicator pursuant to the CIPAA 2012.
