We refer to our announcements dated 1 April 2016, 6 November 2017, 22 January 2019, 22 February 2019, 30 August 2019, 25 November 2019, 15 September 2020, 31 March 2021, 3 March 2022, 24 June 2022, 12 November 2024 and 10 December 2024 in relation to the above matter.
The Board of Directors of the Manager wishes to announce that on 10 December 2024, the Trustee and the Manager have filed a notice of appeal to the Court of Appeal (“Notice”).
In the Notice, the Trustee and the Manager are appealing to the Court of Appeal against part of the said decision by Honourable Judge Dato’ Ahmad Shahrir bin Mohd Salleh on the trial on assessment of damages which assessed the damages to be paid by the Trustee and the Manager to Metroplex for the conversion of antiques in the sum of RM434,760.00 and artworks in the sum of RM2,585,500.00.
