Pursuant to Paragraph 9.43(1)(p) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, being the manager for Sunway REIT, wishes to announce that Sunway REIT has undertaken the following property development activities (“Property Development Activities”), where the total property development costs is approximately RM602.0 million, representing 5.57% of Sunway REIT’s total asset value based on its latest audited financial statements as at 31 December 2024:

1. Redevelopment of Sunway Pier in Port Klang, Selangor into a seafront retail-centric tourist destination, at an estimated development cost of up to RM462.0 million; and
2. Development of a new hotel on top of Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, Penang, at an estimated development cost of up to RM140.0 million.

These Property Development Activities are aligned with Sunway REIT’s investment strategy and are expected to contribute positively to Sunway REIT’s long-term growth and income distribution.
