We refer to our announcements dated 25 May 2012, 10 July 2012, 9 October 2012 and 30 June 2017 (“Announcements”) in respect of the MTN Programme undertaken by SUNREIT Bond Berhad (formerly known as SUNREIT Unrated Bond Berhad) (“the Issuer”), a special purpose vehicle whose shares are held by RHB Trustees Berhad (as trustee for Sunway REIT).

The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, being the manager of Sunway REIT, wishes to announce that the Issuer had appointed Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad and OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, as the Joint Principal Adviser and Joint Lead Arranger for the MTN Programme, to advise the Issuer on the following key revisions:

1. to change the credit rating status of the MTN Programme from unrated to a combination of rated and unrated;
2. to include the flexibility to issue an unsecured medium term notes under the MTN Programme; and
3. to include the flexibility to issue sustainability, sustainability-linked, social and/or green medium term notes under the MTN Programme.

(collectively, the “Revision of Terms”)

The Issuer had on 4 April 2024 lodged the required information and relevant documents relating to the Revision of Terms with the Securities Commission Malaysia pursuant to the prevailing Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products Under the Lodge and Launch Framework. The Revision of Terms is effective on 2 April 2024, being the date of the supplemental transaction documents for the Revision of Terms.
