We refer to the Company's announcements dated 12 January 2026, 3 February 2026, 11 February 2026, 25 February 2026 and 5 March 2026 in relation to the Proposed Offer as well as the circular to the shareholders of Sunway in relation to the Proposed Offer dated 11 March 2026 ("Circular"). Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Circular.

On behalf of Sunway, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the shareholders of Sunway have approved the ordinary resolution pertaining to the Proposed Offer at the EGM held earlier today. The EGM presentation for the Proposed Offer has been uploaded on the Company's website at https://www.sunway.com.my/investor-relations/egm/.

The remaining condition to be fulfilled is the Acceptance Condition in respect of the Proposed Offer which must be fulfilled by 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Monday, 6 April 2026, being the First Closing Date and the 60th day from the Posting Date. If the Acceptance Condition is not fulfilled by the First Closing Date, the Proposed Offer will cease to be capable of further acceptances and all acceptances shall be returned to the Accepting Holders.
