We wish to announce that Sunway Winstar Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sunway, has on 14 April 2025, commenced a voluntary winding-up proceeding on Rising Star Marketing Sdn Bhd (“RSMSB”), its 100%-owned subsidiary, as RSMSB has ceased business operation and is currently dormant. RSMSB is not a major subsidiary of Sunway.
 
RSMSB was incorporated on 29 March 2000 with an issued and paid-up share capital of RM1/-. The previous principal activities of RSMSB were marketing of household and engineering products. The total cost of investment in RSMSB was RM2.7 million.
 
Mr Wong Cham Mew with business address at Suite 13.02, Level 13, Menara Amcorp, No. 18, Persiaran Barat, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, has been appointed as the liquidator for RSMSB on even date.
 
There are no material losses or effects on the net assets per share and earnings per share of Sunway Group arising from the abovementioned liquidation.
