We refer to our announcement dated 17 July 2017 in relation to the first issuance of Islamic Medium Term Notes pursuant to the unrated Islamic Medium Term Note Programme of RM10 billion in nominal value (“Sukuk Programme”) by Sunway Treasury Sukuk Sdn Bhd (“STSSB” or the “Issuer”).

The Board of Directors of Sunway is pleased to announce that STSSB had on 7 November 2023, signed the supplemental transaction documents for the revision of terms and conditions of the Sukuk Programme which amongst others include revision of the credit rating from unrated to a combination of rated and unrated (“Proposed Revision”).

STSSB had on 10 November 2023, lodged with the Securities Commission Malaysia, the required information and relevant documents relating to the Proposed Revision pursuant to the prevailing Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products Under the Lodge and Launch Framework. The effective date of the Proposed Revision is on 7 November 2023.
