We refer to the announcement made by Sunway Construction Berhad (now known as Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd) (“SCSB”), a subsidiary of the Company on 7 October 2003 whereby Sunway City Berhad (now known as Sunway City Sdn Bhd) (“SunCity”) and SCSB, had entered into a joint venture under the name of Sunway Suria (“Joint Venture”) on 6 October 2003 for the development of housing projects in Mukim Bukit Raja, District of Petaling, Selangor Darul Ehsan (“Development”). 

SunCity had on 18 August 2011, novated its position of the Joint Venture to Sunway Integrated Properties Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SunCity.

As the Development had been completed and the obligations of the parties to the Joint Venture had been discharged, the Board of Directors of SunCon is pleased to announce that the unincorporated Joint Venture between the parties has been dissolved.
