Reference is made to the previous announcement on 28 January 2026. 

As announced by the Company, the Appeal No.: W-02(NCC)(W)-1459-09/2023 filed in the Court of Appeal by Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun against the High Court Judgment dated 30 August 2023 [“Appeal”] was heard by the Court of Appeal on 03 September 2025.

The Company wishes to announce that the Appeal was unanimously dismissed by the Court of Appeal on 09 March 2026. Separately, the Court of Appeal has also unanimously dismissed the Company’s cross-appeal for exemplary and aggravated damages against Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun.

In this regard, the Court of Appeal awarded the Company with costs of RM150,000.00 to be paid by Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun.
