PEKAT GROUP BERHAD (“PEKAT” OR “COMPANY”) - ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMPLOYEES’ SHARE OPTION SCHEME (“ESOS”) OF UP TO 10% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ISSUED ORDINARY SHARES OF PEKAT (“PEKAT SHARE(S)”) (EXCLUDING TREASURY SHARES, IF ANY) AT ANY POINT IN TIME OVER THE DURATION OF THE ESOS FOR THE ELIGIBLE DIRECTORS AND EMPLOYEES OF PEKAT AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES (“GROUP”) (EXCLUDING DORMANT SUBSIDIARIES, IF ANY) (“ESOS”)

Reference is made to the announcements dated 9 July 2024, 22 July 2024, 5 August 2024, 19 August 2024 and 22 August 2024 in relation to the ESOS, circular to shareholders in relation to the ESOS dated 20 September 2024 (“Circular”) and the outcome of extraordinary general meeting dated 10 October 2024 in relation to the ESOS. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous announcements of the Company shall apply herein.

 

On behalf of the Board, PIVB wishes to announce that the effective date for the implementation of the ESOS is on 2 January 2025, being the date on which the Company is in full compliance with Rule 6.44(1) of the Listing Requirements.
