PEKAT GROUP BERHAD ("PEKAT" OR "COMPANY") - PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMPLOYEES SHARE OPTION SCHEME ("ESOS") OF UP TO 10% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ISSUED ORDINARY SHARES OF PEKAT ("PEKAT SHARE(S)") (EXCLUDING TREASURY SHARES, IF ANY) AT ANY POINT IN TIME OVER THE DURATION OF THE ESOS FOR THE ELIGIBLE DIRECTORS AND EMPLOYEES OF PEKAT AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES ("GROUP") (EXCLUDING DORMANT SUBSIDIARIES, IF ANY) ("PROPOSED ESOS")

Reference is made to the announcements dated 9 July 2024, 22 July 2024, 5 August 2024 and 19 August 2024 in relation to the Proposed ESOS. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous announcements of the Company shall apply herein.

 

On behalf of the Board, PIVB wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 22 August 2024, resolved to grant Pekat an extension of time of up to 23 October 2024 to comply with Rule 9.32(1)(b) of the Listing Requirements in relation to the issuance of the circular for the Proposed ESOS.
