We refer to the query letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") dated 30 October 2026 ("Query Letter") in relation to the recent sharp fall in the price of shares of Mega Fortris traded on Bursa Securities ("Trading Activity").

Following due enquiry with our directors and major shareholders of the Company, and having made all reasonable enquiries with such other relevant persons, the Company's responses to the queries raised in the Query Letter are set out below:-

1. The Company confirms that there is no corporate development relating to Mega Fortris Group's business and affairs that has not been previously announced, including any that is at the stage of negotiation or discussion, which may account for the Trading Activity.  

    

2. There is no rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of Mega Fortris Group that may account for the Trading Activity and the Company is in compliance with Paragraphs 9.09 and 9.10 of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("MMLR") of Bursa Securities.

    

3. The Board of Directors of the Company ("Board") wishes to inform that, save for the information disclosed below, they are not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the Trading Activity.

    

   The Company has been informed by Dato' Ng Meng Kee, who is also a Director of the Company, and Mega Fortris Global Pte Ltd, (collectively referred to as the "Applicants"), both being substantial shareholders of the Company, that the Applicants had obtained an order from the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (Commercial Division) [Suit No. WA-24ICA-11-05/2026] ("Court Order") against Affin Hwang Nominees Tempatan Sdn. Bhd. ("Respondent").

    

   Pursuant to the Court Order, the Respondent is required to disclose and produce to the Applicants or their solicitors, for inspection and copying, the following documents and information within twenty-one (21) days from the date of service of the Court Order:-

   (a) Documents evidencing the legal and commercial relationship between Safari Asia Limited and the Respondent; and

   (b) Documents evidencing the movements and dealings in respect of the 42,000,000 ordinary shares of the Company held by the Respondent as local custodian for Safari Asia Limited, acting as agent for Brookland Group & Partners Limited, limited to the five (5) transactions, which took place between 25 March 2026 and 31 March 2026, involving an aggregate of 17,739,800 ordinary shares of the Company.

    

   The Board wishes to clarify that the Court Order relates to the disclosure and production of the aforesaid documents and information. As at the date of this announcement, the Company has not been informed of the outcome of the disclosure exercise or any findings arising therefrom.

    

   Accordingly, the Board is presently unable to ascertain whether the matters referred to in the Court Order have any connection with, or provide any explanation for, the Trading Activity.

    

   The Applicants have undertaken to keep the Company informed of any material developments in relation to the aforesaid matter, where relevant.

    

4. The Company confirms that it is in compliance with the MMLR of Bursa Securities, in particular Paragraph 9.03 of the MMLR of Bursa Securities on immediate disclosure obligations.

This announcement is made pursuant to Paragraph 9.11 of the MMLR of Bursa Securities and has been reviewed and endorsed by the Board of the Company.
