| Working experience and occupation | - Works experience of nearly 40 years in the field of water supply. - Started working as water engineer with Perak Water Department from August 1980 to September 1983. - Attended On Job Training program with Samsung Construction Company, Seoul, Korea from October 1983-April 1984. Underwent training in various fields of project engineering, planning, implementations and constructions. - 1984-1988 - worked as planning and development engineer with Selangor Water Department. Involved in the planning and implementations of urban water supply systems for commercial, institutional and housing schemes in the state of Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan. - Attended 'Safety Evaluations of Existing Dams Seminar' (SEED) in Denver, Colorado (1988) organised by United Bureau of Reclamations (USBR). The seminar was attended by dam owners and operators worldwide for safety implementations and inspections of existing small and large dams. - Attended American Water Works Association Conference in St Pauls and Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. - August 1988 - second posting with Perak Water Department, - 1st January 1990 joined Perak Water Board. - Appointed as the General Manager of Perak Water Board on 1st January 2000. |
