Ms. Doris Tan Chuen Chuen (“Ms. Doris”) is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”), United Kingdom, and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”)

Ms. Doris brings over 26 years of extensive financial and leadership experience across diverse industries, including multinational corporations and public listed companies. Her professional expertise spans strategic financial planning, corporate restructuring, corporate governance, investor relationship, treasury management, taxation and operations oversight. Appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Kawan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in 2019, she has played an instrumental role in preparing the company for its Initial Public Offering and merger and acquisition (“M&A”) initiatives.

In her capacity as Chief Financial Officer, she plays a pivotal role in strengthening the Group’s financial discipline, risk management framework, and capital management strategies, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in governance. She provides strong financial stewardship and strategic leadership to support the Group’s sustainable growth and long-term value creation for shareholders.

Appointed as Chief Compliance Officer of Kawan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. on 1 June 2024, Chan Yuen Teng brings over 26 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, laboratory management and corporate sustainability. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia, is a registered chemist and a member of the Institut Kimia Malaysia, and has served as an approved signatory under ISO/IEC 17025.

Professional background includes extensive leadership experience at Carotech Berhad (now ExcelVite Sdn. Bhd.), progressing from Quality Control Chemist to Head of Quality, Application, Research and Development. Key contributions include securing multiple international and regulatory certifications, including ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, as well as sustainability and ethical certifications such as RSPO, MSPO, Halal and Kosher. She has also supported USFDA regulatory submissions and approvals and coordinated major plant expansion projects. Additional involvement encompassed collaboration on Malaysian Standards (“MS”) fuel specifications and the development of US and TGA monographs for palm-based nutraceutical products.

In her capacity as Chief Compliance Officer, she is responsible for overseeing the Company’s Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as human resources and administration, information technology, environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) initiatives, and overall governance functions, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness across the organisation.

Appointed Head of Fabrication Unit in 2024, Sharizan Bin Abd. Bahrin (“Mr. Sharizan”) brings over 22 years of experience in the engineering industry, with expertise in design, fabrication, production management, and quality assurance.

Educational qualifications include the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) obtained in 1996 from Sekolah Menengah Doktor Megat Khas, Ipoh. Professional development has been strengthened through participation in industry-recognised training programs, including:

• 2008 : PVElite New User Product Training (Pressure Vessel & Exchanger Analysis) – EDS Asia Sdn. Bhd.;
• 2014 : AUTOCAD Plant 3D 2014 Essentials – Man Sketch Technologies Sdn. Bhd.;
• 2017 : Inventor Professional Essentials 2018 – Autodesk;
• 2022 : ASME Section 1 Training – ABS Consulting (M) Sdn. Bhd.,

Commencing his career in 1996 as a part-time draughtsman, Mr. Sharizan gained foundational skills in AutoCAD and architectural drafting. Subsequent roles included production planning, site supervision, and design engineering, culminating in his tenure at Kawan Engineering beginning in 2003. Within the Company, he progressed from Assistant Design Engineer to Design Executive, Assistant Head of Engineering Department in 2012, and Head of Engineering Department in 2014. Responsibilities encompassed supervision of construction drawings, engineering calculations, design verification, team coordination, order monitoring, and delegation of technical tasks.

In his capacity as Head of Fabrication Unit since 2024, he oversees the integration of engineering, quality control, and production operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and operational efficiency.
