1. INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors of Infomina is pleased to announce that Infomina had received the Surat Setuju Terima (“SST”) dated 2 January 2025 from the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (“JPJ”) on 6 January 2025.

2. DETAILS OF SST

The SST entails the maintenance and support services for the back-end application, infrastructure of data centre, disaster recovery infrastructure and network, as well as the communication for the Automated Awareness Safety System (“AwAS”). The services also involve the maintenance of integration services from AwAS to various entities to ensure that digital enforcement processes take place in a highly secure environment.

The tenure of the SST is three years commencing from 1 February 2025 to 31 January 2028 (“Period”). During the Period, Infomina will also explore the latest technologies, such as 5G infrastructure and automated artificial intelligence, to improve image processing as well as to ensure the seamless integration between the existing and new enforcement cameras. Infomina will provide project management services and collaborate with the Government's project team, to manage the implementation of the AwAS project.

The value for the SST is approximately RM22.35 million (including Sales and Service Tax) for the entire Period. Any further renewal or extension of the SST after the Period is at the discretion of JPJ.

3. RISK FACTOR

The risk factors associated with the SST are the same as those presently faced by Infomina.

4. FINANCIAL EFFECTS

The SST is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the Infomina Group over the Period.

5. INTEREST OF DIRECTORS, MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND/OR PERSONS CONNECTED WITH THEM

The acceptance of the SST is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the Company.

None of the Directors, major shareholders of Infomina and/or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the SST.
