| Working experience and occupation | Encik Azli Mohamed brings with him over two decades of senior leadership experience across the energy, aviation, and industrial sectors. He most recently served as the Managing Director of Siemens Energy Malaysia. Prior to this, he held key leadership roles in multinationals and public-listed companies including Chief Ventures and Sustainability Officer at AEON Group Malaysia, Chief Transformation Officer at Capital A (formerly AirAsia Group), Chief Strategy Officer at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, and Chief Operating Officer at GE Malaysia. Beyond his corporate career, Encik Azli currently sits on the National Advisory Council for the United Nations Global Compact Network (UNGC) Malaysia & Brunei. He was previously an Advisor to regional fund Openspace Capital and a board member of Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC). Across these organisations, he has led large-scale transformation and growth programmes, strengthening commercial performance and operational discipline in highly regulated and competitive environments. His leadership spans strategic planning, capital allocation, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise execution. These capabilities will support Gas Malaysia as we advance into the next phase of GM32, focused on disciplined execution, monetisation, and sustainable growth. |

The Board has approved the appointment of Encik Azli Mohamed as the President & Group Chief Executive Officer-Elect (PGCEO-Elect) of Gas Malaysia Berhad, effective 9 March 2026. The designation of PGCEO-Elect reflects a structured and orderly leadership transition. He will formally assume full responsibilities as President & Group Chief Executive Officer of Gas Malaysia Berhad with effect from 1 April 2026, taking on overall leadership and stewardship of the Group. |
