Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia” or “the Company”) wishes to inform that under the Incentive-Based Regulation (“IBR”) framework, the Base Average Tariff for users of the Natural Gas Distribution System operated by Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd (“GMD”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gas Malaysia, has been set at RM1.880/GJ/day. The Base Average Tariff will be implemented for Regulatory Period 3 (“RP3”), covering period from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2028.

In addition, GMD’s Distribution Tariff under the IBR framework for all types of utilization is RM2.114/GJ/day for the period from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2026 after incorporating annual IBR tariff adjustment.

Gas Malaysia wishes to clarify that the tariff approval is not applicable to the sales of liquefied petroleum gas supplied in gas cylinder or in bulk supply.

The Distribution Tariff for RP3 will continue to contribute positive returns from the regulated segment of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
