Reference is made to an article titled “Euro Holdings hits limit down again in the midst of finding out reasons behind share price drop” which appeared in TheEdge Markets website on 16 June 2021 (“the Article”).

The Article mentioned that Euro’s stock hit limit down for two consecutive days today.

The Company wishes to address the recent observed price movement of Euro’s shares (“Trading Activity”).

Euro, after making due enquiry with its directors and major shareholders, wishes to inform that to the best of their knowledge, Euro is:-

(i)            not aware of any corporate development relating to the Group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the Trading Activity;

(ii)       have been informed by its major shareholder, namely SPA Furniture (M) Sdn Bhd that it has not entered into any negotiations, discussions or transactions that has not been previously announced, in regards to their shareholding position in Euro.

The Board is cognisant of the need for proper dissemination of information to the public and would release announcement on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on any material issue on a timely basis as required by the Main Market Listing Requirements of the Bursa Securities.
