The Board of Century wishes to announce that the Company will be seeking its shareholders' approvals for the above-captioned Proposals at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company to be convened:-
Proposed New RPT Mandate
The Company proposes that a new RPT mandate be sought from its shareholders to allow the Company and/or its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature which are necessary for its day-to-day operations.
Proposed Renewal of Authority for Share Buy-Back
The Company proposes to seek renewal of the authority from its shareholders to purchase its own ordinary shares of up to 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital. The Company had, at its Annual General Meeting held on 21 April 2016, obtained the approval from its shareholders to purchase its own shares of up to 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital. This authority for Share Buy-Back will expire at the conclusion of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
Circular to Shareholders
A Circular to the Shareholders containing information on the Proposals will be despatched to the shareholders in due course.
