Reference is made to the following: The announcement made on behalf of Axis-REIT on 27 February 2020 in relation to the Notice of the 8th AGM of Axis-REIT to be convened and held at Ballroom 1, Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel, Jalan Utara C, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan on Thursday, 23 April 2020 at 10.00 a.m. The Government's decision made on 16 March 2020 to implement the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) nationwide from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020, in its national efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak; and the extension of the said MCO for another 14 days to 14 April 2020 as further announced by the Government on 25 March 2020 (collectively referred to as the “MCO”). The joint media release by the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) and Bursa Malaysia Berhad dated 17 March 2020 where the SC has granted 2 months extension of time for REIT managers of listed REITs to hold AGMs by 30 June 2020. In view of the above, the Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, as the manager of Axis-REIT, has decided to postpone the 8th AGM of Axis-REIT originally scheduled on Thursday, 23 April 2020 to another date to be determined and announced later. This announcement is dated 1 April 2020.
