The Board of Directors of CJ Century wishes to announce that the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia has approved the transfer of the non-universal service licence from its wholly-owned subsidiary, CJ Century Logistics Sdn. Bhd., to another wholly-owned subsidiary, CJ Logistics Express Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The Notice of Transfer of Non-Universal Service Licence dated 17 December 2020 in respect of the said transfer was received by CJ Century on 30 December 2020.
The transfer of the licence is part of the CJ Century group's internal reorganisation, whereby the courier business of CJ Century will be operated under a dedicated business entity.
