Reference is made to the announcement dated 11 May 2016.
The Board of Directors of Century is pleased to announce that the Shah Alam High Court (“SAHC”) had dismissed the Consolidation Application with costs.
Nestle Products Sdn. Bhd. had filed an application to consolidate CTL’s claim in the SAHC with CTL’s claims against Nestle Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in the Shah Alam Sessions Court, and Nestle Asean Sdn. Bhd. and Cereal Partners Sdn. Bhd. in the Shah Alam Magistrates Court (“the Consolidation Application”).
The initial hearing date for the Consolidation Application which was fixed on 6 June 2016 was vacated and a new date was fixed on 21 June 2016.
The SAHC has also given case management directions to be complied with before the next case management date on 22 August 2016. Trial dates are to be fixed during the next case management date.
